The governance structure of Chatsworth East consists of the Board of Directors, the Board of Management and the school Leadership Team. There are clear distinctions between the roles and responsibilities of each group. In simplified terms:
- The Principal and school Leadership Team, as well as other school teachers and staff, manage the school’s daily operations and implement school policy
- The Board of Management has the ultimate responsibility for all aspects of Chatsworth International School. They are rsponsible for formulating short and long term strategic plans, development of policies and other matters related to the effective operation of Chatsworth and welfare of the students and staff.
- The Board of Directors establishes the direction of the school; ensures effective organizational planning; assesses performance of the school and ensures accountability to shareholders.
We encourage parents who are interested in getting involved in the school community to contact the Chatsworth Support Group (CSG). The CSG is made up of a very enthusiastic and dedicated group of parents and guardians at Chatsworth East and they are always interested to hear from new parents who have time to support school events.
